The idea of new horizons and the promise of unfamiliar faces drew me into what became a 4,000 mile bicycle ride south from New York City to Savannah and west to San Diego. Bicycle touring is unique in how it limits my ability to control the variables in my life and allows for the unexpected. This brings me daily opportunities to practice leaning into that unpredictability and with my camera I aim to capture some of the beauty found beyond the outer reaches of my comfort zone.
